SAS CodeSnaps is a free app that reduces barriers to computer science education by providing a low-cost, low-tech solution for classrooms, camps and clubs. Designed as part of SAS's mission to create a diverse generation of technologists, it can go anywhere young coders are to help them explore the basics of computer science.

Students work together to solve programming challenges using tangible, printed coding blocks. When blocks are scanned with the SAS CodeSnaps app, coding comes alive as the program is executed on the connected robot. SAS CodeSnaps supports most Sphero robots including BOLT, Sphero Mini, SPRK+ and more.

Students collaborate with paper coding blocks and use SAS CodeSnaps to see their program come to life.
